SERAFINA originates from local municipal water sources. While tap water is safe, it contains trace minerals that affect the taste. SERAFINA goes through our advanced purification process to strip away all minerals and impurities, delivering a consistently crisp, pure taste bottle after bottle, regardless of the local water source.

No. SERAFINA does not have any added fluoride, and the purification process (specifically Reverse Osmosis) removes any naturally occurring fluoride that might have been present in the source water. Our water has less than 0.05 ppm of fluoride, which meets pure municipal standards.

SERAFINA contains extremely negligible sodium levels and is officially classified as a sodium-free beverage. Our filtration process removes sodium down to under 0.5 mg per liter, which is far below the FDA limit for 'sodium-free' (which is 5 mg per serving).

Yes, all SERAFINA bottles are 100% recyclable. Our bottles are manufactured using PET 1 (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic, which is highly recyclable. Furthermore, we continually optimize our bottle design to use less plastic through our ECO-SERA bottle initiative, reducing plastic weight by up to 50% since 2002.
